Registration Process – Fall 2024 and Spring 2025
STEP ONE: CREATE YOUR WESTERN STUDENT ACCOUNT
Students enrolled in a WWUHS course will receive an email with a link to the WWUHS Account Creation From. Students should review the information and complete the registration form.
Important Note: WWUHS courses are Western Washington University courses. They will appear on the student’s Western transcript and will count towards their academic record. It’s important to note that this course could potentially impact eligibility for federal financial aid in the future. Students should contact the WWUHS Office for support in answering any questions.
STEP TWO: ACCESS YOUR STUDENT ACCOUNT (WEB4U)
- Visit the Set-up Instructions page. If you have questions about how to access your account or need help troubleshooting, please contact our office for assistance.
STEP THREE: COMPLETE PREREQUISITES FOR COURSES (IF APPLICABLE)
Prerequisites will be communicated to students via the WWUHS Office. Prerequisites can be met in a number of different ways:
- Placement Testing:
- Required Math Score: ALEKS Math Placement Test – If the course requires a math prerequisite, students must schedule an ALEKS placement test to gain prerequisites into courses with math requirements.
- College-level Transcript – If you have courses with college equivalency, provide these to Admissions prior to registration to ensure the prerequisites are in place.
STEP FOUR: REGISTRATION (WEB4U)
- Register for Classes – When ready to register, you can follow the Register for Classes link or select the Web4U icon on the top of the myWestern webpage and log into your universal account. To register, select Students > Registration > Register for Classes.
- To register, students must enter the course CRN number into Web4U.
- Add Course: Select Add Button > Submit > Confirm Schedule. Once a student has selected a class they would like to add, it will populate in the summary section with a pending status. Students must hit the submit button to change the status to registered (if no restrictions apply). To confirm this has happened, students can view their current credit amount on the same screen.
- Remove Course: Select Drop-Down > Web Delete > Submit > Confirm Schedule. To drop a course, students must choose Web Delete from the drop-down menu of the specific course. After submitting, the status of the class as well as the credit amount for the term will be updated.
