  1. WWUHS curriculum is offered conveniently on the high school campus.
  2. Students are already familiar with their WWUHS teachers.
  3. There are no costs for students enrolled in a Washington state public high school for registering and completing a WWUHS course.
  4. WWUHS students typically have more time to complete their college-level courses.
  5. WWUHS credits are not based on a single exam, but on a variety of assessments offered throughout the school year.
  6. WWUHS courses will count towards requirements at Western Washington University, creating pathways from high school to Western and other institutions.

Students who participate in these programs achieve improved high school graduation rates and are more likely to continue on to college and complete a degree.
